Interesting since Virginia is still one...

of the major coal producing/mining states.

Report from Project Vote Smart:

Rep. Tom S Perriello repeatedly refused to provide any responses to citizens on the issues through the 2008 Political Courage Test when asked to by national leaders of the political parties, prominent members of the media, Project Vote Smart President Richard Kimball and Project Vote Smart staff.

Since Virginia just passed the denial of access for women to mid and late-term abortion, what is Tom's stand on this issue--particularly since he is a practicing Catholic?

he's pretty good on abortion rights

but generally awful and just voted for a bill that is pro-coal but reported as envirofriendly, just after voting for the war/IMF bill

but i like this plan he just published, and i think we should give praise where due and criticism too, not try to judge a person or an entire state as totally Good or Bad

Voting for a bill that is pro-coal is not voting for...

a bill that is envirofriendly. Coal is poison pure and simple. Someone like you would be in favor of this bill he just published. You just don't GET much of anything.

Tom's principal mentor in VA is a Bilderburger [Warner] . What a state!

You should spend some time putting your own state back in order and let adults fix the rest of the world.
