You are invited to join local business leaders, local members of MoveOn.org, and otherresidents of New York City for a showcase of area clean energy businesses onThursday, May 28. The purpose of the event is to drive home the point that investmentin a clean energy economy will have quick economic benefits and create jobshere at home.
During the showcase, business leaders will speak tothe potential for expansion of these businesses and further job creation andencourage Senators Gillibrand and Schumer and the New York City Congressionaldelegation to continue efforts to pass a strong clean energy jobs bill. In thepast month, over 15,000 local business leaders have signed a pledge to supporta clean energy economy.
