White House Accomplishments

I would like to see a list of the accomplishments of the White House.  Their website identiifes some but not in an easy to copy and paste format.

The reason I want this is to rebut neocons and others on forums elsewhere.  I am a member of Classmates.  Some try to portray him as creating all kinds of havoc.  Many are "inspired" by Rush Limbaugh and the "pundits" at Fox News.

If someone knows of a link to a page where this is already happening, please let me know.

Like Rush Limballs, and the

Like Rush Limpballs, and the other far-right maniacs, you are asking for a list of "accomplishments" less than three full months into the Obama/Biden administration.

Additionally, what most Americans consider as "accomplishments" (as reflected in ALL major polls) do not set well with the neoconservative crowd. Accomplishments such as closing Gitmo, a plan to withdraw from Iraq in the near future, allowing the press to cover the return of our war dead, the economic stimulus package, and many more reversals of PNAC neocon policies are not "appreciated" by these anti-American assholes.

There are many initiatives in progress, and reversals of neoconservative policies which have taken place, but it is only a start:

It is the, more important, long-term White House Agenda that you should be looking at:

Also, see this node for more information:

And, you may want to point out President Obama's current approval ratings (66%):

Thanks but

Bill I appreciate the links but not your hostile opening. I agree that the far right is just plain hostile. However there are people who are confused by the rhetoric from the far right so if I have something to offer, I think that is good.

I do not think it is helpful if we turn on each other.

Sorry if you felt I was

Sorry if you felt I was being hostile, but I was only pointing out that you are defensively falling into the neocon trap of razzle-dazzle absolute bullshit. Their's is a question which neither requires, nor deserves, an answer. Arguing with Kool-Aid drinking, Dubya-worshiping, idiots is a total waste of time and intellect. Currently, they represent just 24% of the American voting population -- a distinct, and shrinking minority.

Asking for a list of "accomplishments" to the myriad and complex problems facing President Obama and his administration, after less than three months, is ridiculous. It is a Rovian tactic designed to put the neocons' political ememies (anyone who disagrees with Rove, Dubya, and Cheney) on the defensive, while not having to answer for the documented neocon crimes against our nation, and the world.

Ask the neocons for a list of Dubya's "accomplishments" after eight, long, long, years. Let's see, a ruined economy, two mismanaged and endless wars (one of which was started illegally), spying on American citizens, torture of detainees, loss of American reputation, stature, and influence on the world stage, and the list goes on.

Now, we Democrats are being asked, once again, to clean up a Republican-caused national mess, with worldwide implications. Getting President Obama, a Democrat, elected has been the greatest accomplishment of all -- so far.

It is not about the neocons

Hi Bill,

It is not really about the neocons. I recognize that they are not interested in listening to any real facts. Rather I wanted something to share with those undecideds and centrists who watch the exchanges.

I know it is too soon to pass judgment. There are issue areas that I wonder about such as our military actions in the Middle East. I would love to see bolder initiatives in areas such as health care. But I hold back some myself because these things do take time.

I was just looking for some things such as executive orders. Of course some will never be convinced of anything good about Obama and the Democrats.

Thanks!

Ken

Here's a Start

Kenneth, how about turning the tables and

asking what GW Bush accomplished in his eight years in office?
Given what he inherited, a budget surplus and peace time, it
boggles the mind to see where we are today.

Another question that no one has ever been able to answer is this,

What have the Republicans done to help the working men/women in our country?
