General feeling..
My name is Charles I. I'm glad to be part of this Democratic website. I live in AZ.
Today, I read something very good. If Republicans don't like the Stimulus Package they should not accept the allocated money for their specific state! I can see the adversity from the people of that state. In AZ , we have McSame & Kyl. Both have been against any stimulus money. They are dead wrong. But, McSame admitted that the people need it. They talk out of both sides of their mouth. This is a good start & President Obama is on the right track with the foreclosure issue next, then healthcare and managing the auto companies like GM & Chrysler who can't manage themselves.
We need a leader today who can dig out of the mess bush/cheney made. This is the bush economic tradgedy. Pres. Obama will succeed.
Prosecute bush/cheney/rumsfeld, etc
Please sign a petiton to prosecute bush/cheney. Sen. Leahy has one & so does Democrats.com.
This must happen. Their crimes should never happen again!!

On refusing the stimulus package...
Jindal and Louisiana are refusing the stimulus package...some 4 billion dollars(even though LA is some 2 billion in the red).
This is just breaking over at DU LBN.

It's good to be here with people that understand the reality of this world today. It's the worst International economy I've ever seen.
The reality of the world economy clearly shows...
that when the global economy either ignores or attacks the US economy, the world quickly finds that they have killed the goose that lays the golden eggs.
This will be the 3rd such depression in just over 100 years...yet to be seen is whether it will be the worst of the three.

Depression
By the look of things today, in all facets of the economy, a Depression is happening in some areas today!
I think Pres. Obama's initiatives will help in due time. He couldn't do much more in such a short time: addressing the economy, fuel alternatives, education, foreclosues and health care. And, he goes to the people with his plans! The Republicans (bush) are to blame for this catastrophe.
