Was it the fact that folks YOUR age, who happen to be black:
---were called "NIGGERS" their entire time growing up?
---had to listen to their parents being called "NIGGERS" their entire time growing up?
---were not allowed to drink at white water fountains?
---were not allowed to eat at white restaurants?
---were not allowed on white beaches?
---were not allowed the white seats on the bus?
---were not allowed to attend white schools?
---were threatened by lynching?
---had to cross the street to avoid being beaten?
---had ALL OF THE ABOVE AND MORE codified in the laws of the USA?
---sat around the kitchen table talking about the above concerns or hearing grandmom and granddad talking about thier youth. Hearing about slavery first hand?
And now with 43 WHITE presidents, a black man makes it in, and some cheers go up?
