Why I,m voting for Obama

I,m voting for Obama for 3 reasons mainly. Who-ever becomes President must deal with countries that have no love for us and that will take a cool calm level headed person thats willing to listen to both sides not a hot-head with a temper to get anything accomplised.

No.2 is McCain wants to privitize and do you young people realize what that means you will be responsible fully to now take care of your parents physically and financially. If programs are dropped that Democrats have worked so hard to acheive that leaves no-where for all the resposibilitys to fall but on the young generation.

No.3 To get his financing for his health care plan he intends to make cuts on social security and disability, again where will the costs go to the young people.

Theres actually one more reason why I,m voting for Obama. Outsourcing jobs to other countries, Fair Trade agreement McCain thinks it,s just fine as is, at least Obama realizes things must be changed in it to be fair and protect our jobs.

reason for voting for Obama

I am voting for Obama because I am disgusted for the events of the last 8 years.

the Bush administration crippled state budgets by underfunding federal mandates by $175 billion.  2.4 million Americans lost their jobs during the first 2 1/2 years in office.  He is the first president since Herbert Hoover to have a net loss of jobs around 800,000 over a 4 year term.  Unemployment rose to a eight year high.  The Bush tax cuts neglected minimum wage families.  His tax cuts overwhelmingly favored the wealthy.   Bush administration devoted $89B to high income and healthy workers and shortchanged uninsured children.  Rewarded wealthiest 1% more tax cuts than the bottom 60% combined.  Middle class workers experienced stagnant wages, decreasing VA benefits while CEO pay continued to rise.  America is stuck with a $700B tax bill for the bailout of Wall Street.  Under the Bush administration he rewarded these CEOs to ruin companies. Under the bailout these CEOs are allowed to keep their cushy packages.  Under the Bush administration he turned a surplus into high deficits.  $116,000 is the amount Dick Cheney is expected to save on his personal income taxes each year.  Bush has the honor of being number 1 in assemblying the wealthies cabinet in U. S. history.  Since 2001 there has been a change of 6% in the number of families living in poverty.   In 2002, 43.6 million Americans are without health insurance.  Bush's medicare plan helps corporations not the elderly.  Bush vetoed key legislation such as not allowing the minimum wage to raise and against insuring 4 million more children without insurance.  It is high time that we get back to values.  Our government is supposed to be for the people and not just the 1% of Americans that have wealth.  We will become a bigger better America with Obama.
