Why I have voted for Obama
Concerns for this Great Country
In 1941, I began saving tinfoil because it helped the war effort. In 2008, I have cast my vote for Obama, hoping I can get back the feelings I had when collecting tinfoil. Our children need to be accountable for their needs to attend college and not feel that they should be handed it freely. Obama has suggested a great plan for that. I retired from GM (early because of plant movement) with the understanding that if I take this retirement and not reguire the regular amount, I would, instead, receive free health care. However, in 1994(I believe thats the year) GM and the Supreme Court of Michigan took the free health care away but failed to advance my salary to those of the people who had taken retirement in the past without this agreement. This year, GM is ending our healthcare on December 31 (those 65 and over) and we must pay. Obama has said he would do something about healthcare. I got ill at my stomach when I saw Tom Delay on television even speaking after all the damage he has done. So, if Texans are still believing they will be better off with a Bush twin, they can leave me out of that. I am a senior citizen, but I surely dont turn to the McCain campaign for help...They would laugh at me.
