I voted for Obama because he represents the best option we have to turn this country around.  His compassion, grasp of the issues, ability to relate to the most common among us with sincerity, his committment to justice - give me hope for the first time in years. I think he will lead with integrity, that he can be trusted to follow through.  I know that the country cannot survive four more years of Republican "leadership": the top 2% growing richer and richer at the expense of the rest of us; the environment continuing to be trashed; becoming even more ensconced in Iraq, with the possibility of war with Iran.
