BaROCK the Vote!
This is something I posted as a bulletin on my Myspace account. I'm a 31 yr old white male and state this so you can understand some of my post.
I'm having a hard time dealing with how lightly people are taking this election. Most of my friends are my age or around it. This is by far the most important Presidential election in our young lifetime. The economy is fuct, we're still at war in a place we have no business being in, there were possible cover ups in the 9/11 Report, our current president lies to our face and we accept it, foreign countries hate Americans now, bills have passed that infringe on our privacy under the Constitution, and once again let me remind you that our economy is in it's worst state since World War II.
I not trying to force my opinion on you or how you'll vote, but I would hope that you recognize this country is in need of some major overhauling. People, don't be scared to express your opinions if you're voting for Obama. I AM. All this bullshit about him being a terrorist is nonsense put forth by our big money media who receives money from large corporate interests groups. It's crazy how many people follow the mainstream propaganda put forth. Make up your own mind and make the choices that are best for you and your family. And although it may not be in the forefront of your mind, I ask you not to forget your Country. It's up to the people to ensure we have the right leaders. Exercise your right to vote and remember how many people died to give you that right.
I challenge all my friends who are Obama supporters to post a picture of him or his logo as your profile picture on myspace until the election is over. You'd be surprised how many people will follow when fear of persecution fades away. I usually don't preach like this, but I understand the magnitude of what we face under another Republican term of recycled policies.
ROCK THE VOTE!!!!

JOE the PLUMBER? SARAH PALIN? ROCK THE VOTE AMERICA by JK CITIZE
MIAMI (PRLog) Nov 4, 2008 - On this historical Election Day, an unprecedented amount of campaign coverage has been seen by the masses. The United States Presidential race has become a worldwide event and thus a tribute to the image and influence this great nation still has around the world.
As the world watches, some get famous over night like “Joe the Plumber”, some get even more famous like Vice-Presidential hopeful Sarah Palin. Then there is the little guy who came out of nowhere and conquered YouTube with just a song and your average everyday controversy.
After several weeks and over 94,000 views on YouTube, JK Citizens Rock The Vote America has caught on internationally. A search on Google brought us to over 3,900 postings and Yahoo produced over 15,000. The US, Europe, Asia, Middle East and even Sri Lanka. So just who is JK Citizen?
The Miami based Hip Roc artist was first launched onto the scene after his video debut in September. It was a simple idea.
Write a song. Make a video. Post it on YouTube and a few other video websites. Get young people to vote. So what could go wrong (or right)?
JK found himself in the limelight and surrounded by debate after what some have perceived as his portrayal of Presidential Nominee Barack Obama and the newest accusations that this is an attempt to swing the vote Obamas way. Some political insiders say that the coined silent song can have significant influence over the amount of young voters.
In a recent telephone interview JK Citizen responded “I wrote the song to get young people to vote and not to portray either candidate but obviously the color of my skin has something to do with it.
If Senator McCain was my skin color, then we wouldnt be having this discussion. If you listen to the lyrics its all about making a change and the power of rocking your vote.
Most important of all, its about letting both candidates know that no matter who gets elected, that its time for change and that they have to make it right Mr. President.”
In the midst of overwhelming controversy as well as support JK is keeping a positive attitude and an unbiased opinion. He is currently performing several shows all to raise voting awareness and voter registration.
When asked about how all this is turning out JK said “Its all about turning a negative into a positive and remembering all the people who understand this is our world and our future. Stand up and vote America.
Lead by example and and be proud to set a great example for the rest of the world.”
