This group of anti-Constitutional, anti-American traitors has worked very hard to hold our country hostage for the past few decades, beginning with the Raygun crowd. They will stop at virtually nothing in their crusade to take over our country, and install their own brand of a corporatist, aristocratic, theocracy.

Their open contempt for the Constitution of the United States of America belies their rhetoric of "spreading democracy" around the world. Their real agenda is nothing less than to control the world's resources through military adventurism. John McCain, along with Joe Lieberman, have been two of their biggest proponents. Along with Cheney and Rumsfeld, these traitors tried to convince the first George Bush, and then Bill Clinton, to invade and occupy Iraq. They finally succeeded with their current puppet, Dubya, and here we are today: the world's economy in shambles, our civil liberties under constant attack, while we continue to occupy a soverign nation.

Hopefully, the American People are finally able to see this group of criminals for what they actually are: greedy thieves, and in the truest sense, dangerous enemies from within.

The BO tax plan explained for the proletariat. Result = the rich are not going to play and pay anymore.  Why do you think the credit crunch/liquidity problems still exist after the government pumped in $trillions the past few weeks.  They are keeping their money to themselves.  Wouldn't you?  BTW if you don't think this is Socialism/Marxism, a good read of the communist manifesto will remove all doubt.  One of Marx's ten planks of a socialist society is a progressive tax plan.

Our Tax System Explained: Bar Stool Economics

Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:

The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.

The fifth would pay $1.

The sixth would pay $3.

The seventh would pay $7.

The eighth would pay $12.

The ninth would pay $18.

The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.

So, that's what they decided to do.

The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve. 'Since you are all such good customers,' he said, 'I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by $20.' Drinks for the ten now cost just $80.

The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes so the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free.

But what about the other six men - the paying customers? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his 'fair share?'

They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer.

So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill by roughly the same amount, and he proceeded to work out the amounts each should pay.

And so:

The fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% savings).

The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33%savings).

The seventh now pay $5 instead of $7 (28%savings).

The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% savings).

The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 (22% savings).

The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings).

Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued to drink for free. But once outside the restaurant, the men began to compare their savings.

'I only got a dollar out of the $20,'declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man,' but he got $10!'

'Yeah, that's right,' exclaimed the fifth man. 'I only saved a dollar, too.

It's unfair that he got ten times more than I got' 'That's true!!'

shouted the seventh man. 'Why should he get $10 back when I got only two? The wealthy get all the breaks!'

'Wait a minute,' yelled the first four men in unison. 'We didn't get anything at all. The system exploits the poor!'

The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up.

The next night the tenth man didn't show up for drinks so the nine sat down and had beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn't have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill!

And that, ladies and gentlemen, journalists and college professors, is how our tax system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they might start drinking overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier.

For those who understand, no explanation is needed.

For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible.

This says it all... ^ ... If you continue to give people money, and give them free stuff, all for sitting on their couch, or stoop, from the taxes of the working, lower, middle, and upper, there will be a rebilion. No pitch forks and fire, but planes leaving along with citizens to other countries. For the Obama fans, you do not need to worry. Every college in America is filled with raging liberals who have been brainwashed, along with the millions of other Americans, into thinking that Obama is the "Right" chioce. Obama will be elected. The only thing you need to worry about is running back and asking for forgiveness when Obama takes the American dream and throws it in the fire.

I'm not asking for a fight, just for you to say that you were wrong when Obama get elected, and unleashes the ravage beast that is the Obama Presidency. I am only 16, but I have looked past the Media and the propaganda that comes from it. Obama has spent more this month in T.V adds than Mcain has the entire race. What does that tell you. He is trying to brianwash everyone that is too lazy to think of their own oppion, and do any amount research.

The U.S. does not need irriational thinkers in washington, but ratinoal realist. Compare ancient Greece and Rome. If you know nothing about either, it is pointless to elaborate. I am only 16, like I said earlier, but I am duel enrolling with a local college and high school, because I care about my future, unlike 90% of the youth popluation, which I hope that everyone can agree on, is not looking bright. Anyway, there is a conncection between what needs to be done in order to protect freedom, and what can be done to make everyone happy. Not everyone can be happy. That's just the way it is. Tough love. Kill the enemy so our friends can find happyness.

I could go on, but I'm sure half of the people commenting on this didn't read past the first paragraph.

Note that Cops, Soldiers, etc. ARE the people that share that orange sliver.

For your edification, beyond what is obvious in the ancient rhetoric you are parroting:

---Soldiers, Scientists, etc. CAN demand more for their labors, but do not, due to passion or family.

---They thereby afford Welfare to those who do demand more.

If you demand that only Free For All market forces be used within an economy then you ask Soldiers to stop soldiering. You ask Scientists to stop researching. Etc. And you demand that they quickly, instead, build start ups to compete with giant implicit monopolies. This is of course asinine and extremely harmful to an economy.

What Soldiers, Scientists, etc. do demand, while eschewing whining for ever increasing pay increases, is that a few simple things be accomplished via cooperation:

-Regulation of tasks which require nothing new (Most everyone of import does their job out of passion and not for obscene incomes-soldiers, cops, scientists, etc.)

-A minimum wage so that while the soldier, for example, can focus on sacrificing his life, his family and extended family have a shot at a minimum income. To do otherwise would require EVERYONE in a family unit to think of nothing else but finding a way to increase their income.

-A GI Bill

-etc.

I might add texasplaya91 that you are fully entrenched in the victim mentality. For anyone to moan about how -Cops, Soldiers, Scientists, Engineers, Construction Workers, etc. are lazy and THAT is why it's so tough on you, a shining star, is just lame.

You are being readied to have your head up your bosses dairy aire for the rest of you life. Don't do as you boss tells you to do, do what you boss does! THAT is how you rise about mid level hackdom.

From that height you will not feel the need to put the vast majority (who provide the laboring, soldering, and most of the innovation) down. Be a man, not a Conservative. (Who I might add, have left our troops to rot in perpetual Stop Loss because while they still vote for inane military policy they fail to actual enlist!)

In the above discussion the bar is set at simply doing away with blanket statements. For example, things like, "competition ALWAYS leads to EVERYTHING being better than cooperation does".

Further, even if a thought experiment leads one to understand that the blanket statement is false, it may also be true that intervention via cooperation (e.g. via the voting booth) may be so heavy handed that the results are worse.

Again, they key is for us all to get away from demonstrably false blanket statements. It is understood that on matters of opinion we will continue to disagree. (That part may be genetic ;)
