Sooo....With McCains campaign going down in flames and the GOP about to loose their grip on power, a lightbulb goes on over Bush's empty, lame duck head!!!
Our beloved dictator has a brilliant idea! "Let's scare the s--t out of the nation once again. and take a trillion or so with us when we go".
But I think....I hope....congress and the rest of the country have his number now and won't be cowed again. They already got several billion past us with the 85 bil. for AIG.
Maybe they should have kept nickle and dimein' us. Then we might not have noticed we were being fleeced!!!!!

This big financial meltdown? I love it. At last the Republican-voting, suit-stuffing, briefcase-toting, prematurely balding, almightly-buck-worshipping, strip-club-frequenting, slave-driving, liquid-lunching, law-flouting, politician-greasing, shark-emulating, caffeine-binging, power-abusing, constantly-schmoozing, wheeling, dealing, profit-stealing, coke-snorting yuppies are getting hurt too, just like the rest of us have been for decades.

Did you see all the little piggies on the house floor after the vote, sweating bullets and snivelin' cuz their fat stock portfolios are fixin' to go down the tube.....I love it!!!
Thing is it'll probably still pass, cuz the only reason the house reps voted no was to give johnny McMoron a chance to ride in on his white horse, kick some ass, take some names and save the day.
And unfortunately, with almost half of this country of uninformed morons watching Fox news, ready to elect him already, we might still be in some deep shit!
