How to beat John Mc Cain
It's time to stop John McCain in his tracks. Here is my suggestions to send McNasty back to Arizona>
Concentrate on McCain
This election is not about Sarah Palin. Oh, I get it. She's about as swift about government policy as my garbage man but we only have to worry about her if we don't elect Obama. So let's concentrate on all the issues that McCain won't talk about, because he has the same policies as good ol' George. We need to pound this home, especially when the GOP is getting personal. We need to point out how McCain has a bad temper and seems to be a bi-partisan insult merchant. There must be at least 1000 pictures of McCain scowling.
Make John McCain Mad
John McCain irritated is not a pretty picture. Anyone who saw him on "The View" sould see how upset he was getting when Barbara Walters and Joy Behar told him that his campaign ads were untrue. Why would you support them if they're lies? he was asked. He gritted his teeth and said that he didn't think so. It was hilarious. Guess not all women are as stupid as he thinks. In any case, when he gets mad he stumbles over his reponses and looks very inarticulate.
Would you have a beer with this guy?
So many Americans seem to think that their president should be like the guy next door. I, for one, would not want ANY of my neighbors to be president. If the admakers could put together an ad about how ridiculous this is, that would be a start. I like to see an ad with Mr. John Q. Public in the back yard with a beer, belching, and burning the brats. The line would be, "while Joe is always up for a good time, would you want him as our next president?" "Vote for the candidate with solutions." Of course, Joe would be played by a white haired 70 year old.
Make McCain's strengths look like weakness
A play from Karl Rove's handbook, only gentler. Of course we know John McCain was a war hero, but do most Americans know he crashed 4 jets while learning how to fly them? Do they know he was at the very bottom (OK, 5 were dumber) of his graduating class at Annapolis? Do they know that the torture procedures that he and the Bush adminstration now believe are so bad that what he went through in Nam would no longer be qualified as torture? That's hypocrisy at it's zenith. Let's point out these facts as having someone in the White House with this "stellar" record scares me to death.
Let's get going, Dems. Time's awasting. Don't let John McCain make his sow's ear of a record into a silk purse.
