Has anyone heard if they decided to do a manual recount?  It think they had to decide today?

Recount On

Yes, there will be a full recount. I just volunteered to help with overseeing it, and will go for training tomorrow. From what I've heard, some Republicans are accusing dems of trying to steal the election, but they could just as easily win, so figure it's just the usual propoganda, setting up some people's thinking, in case they lose.

How long will it take and what's the deadline for certification? Good luck, it seems like a tedious task.

They emailed me (and others of course) asking for volunteers. I'm on their list because of $$$ I gave for Kerry's campaign. This will be the first time i've taken a 'hands on' approach to anything political. When I called, they just gave me the time and place for training, and said a full recount will be done.

I'm really looking forward to it. Knowledge is power, they say, LOL! I'll find the answers to your questions when I'm there tomorrow, and let you know.
