I just spoke with Ellen Tauscher's office. She will be voting for today's telecom immunity compromise because "it does not grant automatic immunity". I thought it did grant the telecoms immunity. Can someone please help clear this up?
It does. She's a fool to think otherwise.
This is the ONLY reason Bush just spoke on the bill. He __needs__ the immunity and without it his dirty laundry will be made public with time.
