ImpeachmentI stayed up with Rep Kucinich for his entire reading into the record. I am so delighted to see that we have such quality of courage in the Congress. He's taken a giant step to restore its credibility. But, I admit to being totally unknowledgable regarding the process of impeachment at this point. I know it begins in the House of Representatives and tried in the Senate, but where to we go from here with his presentment? I will feel more empowered if we can get the details or appropriate links to get this information. Now, in light of the Democrat's surge to the finish line to sweep the board, it will be interesting to see just who among our Congressmen and women will step up to the plate and give their support. It is high time for them to show their true colors and the quality of their mettle.

Corporate media
I find it strange that the corporate media has seen fit to block any mention of the 35 articles of impeachment.
When will the newspapers print the truth instead of being lap dogs for Bush.
Next step: Justice Committee
Off the top of my head: the bills have been sent to the Justice Committee (John Conyers, Chairman.) The next step is for the Committee to vote for or against impeachment. If they do, they will hold investigative hearings. Once they start, the fat is in ther fire. It was the House Justice Commitee investigations that brought down Nixon.
If more than half vote to impeach, the bill is sent for a vote to the House. If it passes, Cheney and/or Bush is impeached, and there is a trial in the Senate.
There is a trial in the Senate overseen by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (Roberts!!!) and it takes 2/3 of the votes to convict. If that happens, Cheney or Bush is no longer Vice President or President.
And then, hopefully, they are given a fair trial, both here and at the International Court in the Hague, for their various High Crimes and felonies.
