I want to ask all of our soldiers on active duty (no matter where) to not only vote in November, but to urge their entire extended families to vote Democratic, and not for McCain (more of the same as Bush).   We want to stop the loss (there's a new movie out about a family that keeps getting called back to active duty) now and the only way you're going to come close is to get the republican war machine out of the White House.   McCain has already sworn to "stay the course" and continue the war.  What "war" are we fighting?  Bush sent troops overseas after we were attacked by terrorists led by Osama Bin Laden in our own backyard.   Bush veered off the main highway talking about weapons that didn't even exist, then we were "helping Iraqi people gain their freedom" and so forth.  Saddam Hussein was terminated some time ago, and we are still there.  If you want my opinion, George Bush is getting rich off the gas prices while we control oil fields, and Dick Cheney is getting rich from Halliburton by hauling the fuel, and they are going to make every dime they can until they leave the White House.   Why else wouldn't he release America's oil reserves and ease the price on the poor people?  You would think gas prices would be down while we are occupying Iraq.   Isn't it strange that we go to war everytime the president is Republican?  Maybe they know something we don't about how to make money and profiteer.   Something smells rotten!  If you want to come home and come home soon, I urge you to rally your loved ones to vote Democratic in November.   If the Democrats get mad at each other and split the vote or cross over like little children, we might as well throw in the towel.
