Iraq Town Hall in the VA 4th District

After 5 years it is time to end the Iraq occupation that never should have started. War is a dying business (4,000 American soldiers have died, tens of thousands have been wounded and more than 1 million Iraqi citizens have died).

Citizens of the 4th Congressional District will meet to discuss our plans to pressure Randy Forbes to stop funding the war. We also need to discuss the support that we, as a community can provide to the returning veterans who have suffered physical and mental wounds.

Because of the size of the 4th District I would like to have two Town Halls: one in Chesapeake (Randy Forbes' home town) and another in Petersburg.

Many people in the 4th District have spent the past year and half trying to get Rep. Forbes to stop voting for war and start voting to support the people who live in the 4th District. I decided to run against Randy Forbes in February for his House seat.
