Members of Moveon.org, our local group Patriots for Peace and Justice, and other local members of the Norman, OK community hold peace vigils every Monday from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the corner of Flood and Main. We carry signs informing the community of the current cost of war in numbers of death, wounded and cost in dollars as well as Honk for Peace/Impeachment, etc. We also work with MoveOn and American Friends Service committee to commemorate significant anniversaries and number of deaths. We invite anyone who's interested to join us.
