Stolen Election 2004: Wednesday Update

Big Big News: John Kerry has officially joined the fight!!!

Kerry Team Seeks to Join Fight To Get Ohio County to Recount
Wednesday, December 1, 2004; Page A08

Sen. John F. Kerry's presidential campaign asked an Ohio judge yesterday to allow it to join a legal fight there over whether election officials in one county may sit out the state's impending recount.

A pair of third-party presidential candidates, who said that reports of problems at the polls on Election Day are not being addressed, are forcing the Buckeye State to recount its entire presidential vote. But David A. Yost, a lawyer for Delaware County, just outside Columbus, won a temporary restraining order last week blocking any recount there. He told the Columbus Dispatch that a second count would be a poor use of county resources. President Bush won the mostly Republican area handily, unofficial results show.

Lawyers for the Kerry campaign asked to join Green Party presidential candidate David Cobb, Libertarian candidate Michael Badnarik and the National Voting Rights Institute in the fight to force the county to participate in the recount. "If there's going to be a recount in Ohio, we don't want it to exclude Delaware County or any other county that might decide to follow Delaware County's lead," Kerry lawyer Dan Hoffheimer said. "It should be a full, fair and accurate recount."

Bush won the critical battleground state by approximately 136,000 votes, a victory that also won him a second term.

Cobb's lawyers filed papers yesterday asking a federal court to take over the case, which is scheduled for state court.

Now that Kerry is in the fray, the next question is what the Busheviks will do in response.

Normally, they would get vicious and try to rip Kerry to shreds for being a "sore loser." But that strategy has some major dangers.

First, it would call attention to the recount itself, underscoring how close the election was - and exposing the known (black voter suppression) and possibly unknown crimes the Busheviks committed to steal Ohio.

Second, it would be impossible for the Busheviks to reject a recount in Ohio at the precise moment they are demanding a recount in Ukraine.

Speaking of Ukraine... Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich's government collapsed over his attempt to steal the Presidency.

Ukraine's parliament brought down the government of Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich on Wednesday, approving a no-confidence motion as international mediators gathered in the capital to try to bring the spiraling political crisis to a peaceful resolution.

The dramatic vote came only days after the Election Commission certified Yanukovich as winner of Ukraine's disputed presidential run-off, though opposition leader Victor Yushchenko has said the vote was fraudulent, an allegation backed by Western governments and tens of thousands of opposition supporters.

Can't we mobilize "tens of thousands of opposition supporters" to bring down Bush's fraudulent government?

Where is Kerry?!! S.O.S. from Ohio!

Where is Sen. Kerry and what action, if any, is he actually taking to support the people in Ohio who supported him – grassroots people like me who contributed, with great personal sacrifice, to his campaign? I want to hear from John Kerry in person, not from a lawyer from his presidential campaign.

This year, for the first time since I’ve been old enough to vote, I signed up with an official political party - registered as a Democrat and jumped headfirst into the political fray of Election 2004. I did this because I am aware enough to know that this country has been going in the wrong direction since Election 2000. I informed myself on the issues and the candidates, contributed money to the Kerry campaign that I did not have. (My Christmas giving and activities will be reduced this year, what with having made donations to Kerry via credit cards and vast physical effort.)

What troubles me is that I’ve not seen or heard any direct public demonstrations of support from Sen. Kerry concerning the recount in Ohio. I do not know if the recount will change the outcome of the election; but I do know that the GOP perpetrated some out-and-out immoral deeds to suppress voters and manipulate the election in their candidate’s favor in Ohio and elsewhere in the USA. Am I the only American who can see the abusive behavior the GOP, Bush administration and the religious-right wing Christians exhibit on a continual basis?

No, I’m not a sore loser. I’m a concerned citizen who feels abandoned by the Democratic Party and Sen. Kerry. You told us “I got your back” and I believed you. Where are you now, John Kerry? Stand up and fight for us!

I am frustrated by the media’s lack of attention/reporting on the matter, too. Every vote should count (and be counted). There are irregularities, fraudulent acts, disturbing stories of intimidation and voter suppression here in Ohio that must be dealt with. Steps need to be taken to expose the “evil doers” in Election 2004 and to revamp the electoral process so assure that we remain a nation that is truly governed BY THE PEOPLE and not an exclusive, intrusive, divisive, partisan President and his cronies.

I AGREE!

You are not alone in your feelings! I too contributed money that I did not have and I want to know where Kerry and Edwards are. I want to hear from them. I want this matter reported in the media. I just about lost my mind over the weekend listening to the Busheviks talk about unfair voting in the Ukraine and all of the election irregularities in the Ukraine. Where is the chickenshit media? WHY ARE THEY NOT REPORTING THE IRREGULARITIES IN THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA? Have we lost our collective minds?

Re: I AGREE!

I've wondered if we've lost our collective minds, too, but think the truth is that the journalists/media have lost their collective integrity. They seem to care only about ratings and, like Bush, cannot admit mistakes.

Extremely frustrating to me. Don't know what to do - I'm still in shock over the election - and am losing the will to fight.

Kerry Must File Suit To Start Ohio Recount Immediately!

The lawsuit that Kerry joined is about getting rid of a temporary restraining order by a county that does not want to participate in the recount. The lawsuit I'm talking about here is trying to impose a temporary restraining in order to start the recount immediately(the Greens tried this and failed because they could not be "harmed" with an incomplete recount since the Greens would not gain any electoral votes, as Kerry could). Its two different things and they're both very important! The current timeline is impossible (Blackwell is set to start the recount on the 11th while the safe harbor day when Ohio is supposed to choose its electors is on the 7th and the day that all the electors choose the President is the 13th, while a full hand count will take at least 10 days!), this is why the Greens wanted to have a lawsuit to expedite it! The other lawsuit happened because a county sued to opt out.

If you've seen this action before, I've added a sample letter you can use as a template for your own letter and phone #'s, faxes, etc. if you want to do more. You can also find all of this along with other actions to facilitate recounts and investigate vote fraud--and a new section on vote fraud protests around the country--see link on top--at http://stolenelection2004.com/alerts.html

Since the Judge said the Greens don't have standing to sue to start the recount immediately, only Kerry can get the recount going by initiating a lawsuit before Blackwell runs the clock out. And that's exactly what will happen unless we all speak out now. Here's a one click page where you can send your personal message on election fraud to the Kerry campaign, the DNC, and the GAO at the same time

http://www.thepen.us/e-fraud.html

Tell Senator Kerry he must act now to fight for us all by requesting a temporary restraining order (this is a legal term that would get the counties to start the recount immediately see http://www.votecobb.net/pdf/tromotion.pdf ) for which the groundwork is already laid by the Greens.

--Sample letter: "I strongly urge Senator Kerry to initiate a temporary restraining order in Ohio so as to start the recount immediately in order to make every vote count since there have been many voting anomalies and allegations of voting fraud and the current recount timeline would not allow enough time to do a full manual count (which is estimated to take at least 10 days) before the deadlines when Ohio must officially participate in choosing the next President. I also urge Kerry, the DNC, and the GAO to investigate all allegations of voting fraud right away."

Keep trying, folks

I wouldn't presume to speak for President Bush, but I think Sen. Kerry has made the right move and at the right time. The idea of a lawyer for Delaware County stating that a recount would be a "poor use of county resources" is beyond absurd. It is worthy of a lot of anger on the part of those of us who voted for Kerry and feel our votes were improperly counted. And yet, are we capable of expressing the anger that we feel? Is the logic on the part of the terrorists that we who disagree with the Bush manifesto will eventually just be intimidated into fading out? You should know right up front, that will never happen.

MR. KERRY PLEASE HELP US HELP YOU (AND US),PLEASE HELP US

I am a practical, functioning professional who doesn't expect fairy tale endings. However, as a baby boomer and product of middle class America, I am also not a quitter. I don't think that we Democrats can sit by and and let the election be stolen without a fight. Mr. Kerry, please get engaged in the process. We all know that it hurts to lose, but,if the election was stolen, you did not lose. We have given you our faith, our money, and our sweat. We know that you and John Edwards worked hard. However, go the extra mile for us. I have contributed to the Green Party to make this happen. I had thought that the DNC had died. We need to fight now. The Ukrainians are storming Parliament and Mr. Bush is trying to tell Canada that he won our popularity poll. He stole it. He didn't win. Fight with us. The times make men great. You hold my child's future in your hands.

Plan the Mobilization in Case Recount/Challenge Needs More Time

Bob Fertig asks the question, "can't we mobilize tens of thousands to bring down Bush's fraudulent government?" We may not be able to bring it down, but we have to try to mobilize enough of the People to put some real heat on Bush. Here's the plan I outlined last night. Somebody has to get something going now. It would be imminently reasonable to call on our elder statesmen to examine the evidence of voter fraud and disenfranchisement, and if all four can certify to the People that this election was free and fair, and the outcome is not in doubt, I for one will feel better about myself and the future of the country. I'm not alone in this--the evidence, while largely circumstantial, is based on real science and real anamolies. Put together, as it would be in a presentation to the former Presidents, it leaves little room in a reasonable mind that this election was flawed and Bush's victory was not earned as expected in a great democracy. Even if the effort fails, the process will be helpful to the nation. Here's the proposal:

1. On Monday, December 13th, the day the Electoral College convenes in the U.S. Capitol, we the People will peacefully assemble in a huge ring around the Capitol.

2. We will call upon the Electors to temporarily postpone their balloting.

3. We will call on the four living ex-Presidents (Ford, Carter, Bush-41 and Clinton), two Democrats and two Republicans, to convene and review the grave evidence of election fraud and disenfranchisement.

4. By Friday, December 17, if all four former Presidents can certify to the People of the United States that these elections were fair and free, and the outcome is not in dispute, we will stand down.

5. If the former Presidents cannot so certify, we will call for new elections to be held nationwide for the Presidential race, within one month.

6. The new elections will use paper ballots that will be hand-counted. No machines or computers will be used.

7. The process will be transparent. Representatives of each candidate will be permitted to observe vote counting, and it will be recorded and made immediately available to the public.

Begin the organization now. If a huge number of Americans show up on December 13th peacefully surrounding the Capitol, that singular act might change the course of history. Let Democracy Ring the Capitol!

Exit Polls, E-Voting and Presidential Elections

Please everybody, let us look at the Exit poll issue with pure logic and take our emotions out. Now first let us look at the 2000 election. The Exit polls were very accurate. At around 6:00 PM Al Gore was declared the winner by all media based on the Exit polls and the Exit polls were right. Unfortunately the votes cast on the Butterfly ballot cost Gore about 3000 Votes. The Exit polls were very, very accurate, more people did vote for Al Gore. People did come out of the polling places and did give accurate Exit polls input, the Ballot design screwed it up. It has nothing to do with the Exit polls.
Just picture how accurate the Exit polls were? They predicted the Gore win almost to a couple thousand votes in Florida. There are absolutely no reason for the Media ( Includes Tom Brokow or Dan Rather ) to feel bad about the 2000 Election predictions on election day. They were right, more people did vote for Al Gore as the Exit polls showed.

Now, the same goes for 2004 Elections. The Exit polls said that John Kerry was winning in Ohio and Florida. They are very accurate but the Computers with no Paper trail were rigged. I am a software engineer who understands the very basics. We never should have allowed an Election to go forward with out a Paper Trail. It simply does not make any sense.

I need one valid reason to justify no Paper Trail. Strangely the Republicans just did not want a Paper Trail. The fundamental question is WHY? Why do the Republicans not want a Paper trail?
I need folks to join me in a call “Give me a Paper Trail for my Vote or give me Death!”.

The glory day has come

Allons enfants de la Patrie
Le jour de gloire est arrivé !
Contre nous de la tyrannie
L'étendard sanglant est levé
Entendez-vous dans nos campagnes
Mugir ces féroces soldats?
Ils viennent jusque dans vos bras.
Égorger vos fils, vos compagnes!

Aux armes citoyens
Formez vos bataillons
Marchons, marchons
Qu'un sang impur
Abreuve nos sillons

Que veut cette horde d'esclaves
De traîtres, de rois conjurés?
Pour qui ces ignobles entraves
Ces fers dès longtemps préparés?
Français, pour nous, ah! quel outrage
Quels transports il doit exciter?
C'est nous qu'on ose méditer
De rendre à l'antique esclavage!

Quoi ces cohortes étrangères!
Feraient la loi dans nos foyers!
Quoi! ces phalanges mercenaires
Terrasseraient nos fils guerriers!
Grand Dieu! par des mains enchaînées
Nos fronts sous le joug se ploieraient
De vils despotes deviendraient
Les maîtres des destinées.

Tremblez, tyrans et vous perfides
L'opprobre de tous les partis
Tremblez! vos projets parricides
Vont enfin recevoir leurs prix!
Tout est soldat pour vous combattre
S'ils tombent, nos jeunes héros
La France en produit de nouveaux,
Contre vous tout prêts à se battre.

Français, en guerriers magnanimes
Portez ou retenez vos coups!
Épargnez ces tristes victimes
À regret s'armant contre nous
Mais ces despotes sanguinaires
Mais ces complices de Bouillé
Tous ces tigres qui, sans pitié
Déchirent le sein de leur mère!

Nous entrerons dans la carrière
Quand nos aînés n'y seront plus
Nous y trouverons leur poussière
Et la trace de leurs vertus
Bien moins jaloux de leur survivre
Que de partager leur cercueil
Nous aurons le sublime orgueil
De les venger ou de les suivre!

Amour sacré de la Patrie
Conduis, soutiens nos bras vengeurs
Liberté, Liberté chérie
Combats avec tes défenseurs!
Sous nos drapeaux, que la victoire
Accoure à tes mâles accents
Que tes ennemis expirants
Voient ton triomphe et notre gloire!

You know, I always thought this too long for a national anthem. Thank the universe that they shorten at the olympics.

By the way, what kind of wine was baby Bush drinking in Ottawa?
Bet they claim it was apple juice

Arise children of the fatherland
The day of glory has arrived
Against us tyranny's
Bloody standard is raised
Listen to the sound in the fields
The howling of these fearsome soldiers
They are coming into our midst
To cut the throats of your sons and consorts

To arms citizens Form your battalions
March, march
Let impure blood
Water our furrows

What do they want this horde of slaves
Of traitors and conspiratorial kings?
For whom these vile chains
These long-prepared irons?
Frenchmen, for us, ah! What outrage
What methods must be taken?
It is us they dare plan
To return to the old slavery!

What! These foreign cohorts!
They would make laws in our courts!
What! These mercenary phalanxes
Would cut down our warrior sons
Good Lord! By chained hands
Our brow would yield under the yoke
The vile despots would have themselves be
The masters of destiny

Tremble, tyrants and traitors
The shame of all good men
Tremble! Your parricidal schemes
Will receive their just reward
Against you we are all soldiers
If they fall, our young heros
France will bear new ones
Ready to join the fight against you

Frenchmen, as magnanimous warriors
Bear or hold back your blows
Spare these sad victims
That they regret taking up arms against us
But not these bloody despots
These accomplices of Bouillé
All these tigers who pitilessly
Ripped out their mothers' wombs

We too shall enlist
When our elders' time has come
To add to the list of deeds
Inscribed upon their tombs
We are much less jealous of surviving them
Than of sharing their coffins
We shall have the sublime pride
Of avenging or joining them

Drive on sacred patriotism
Support our avenging arms
Liberty, cherished liberty
Join the struggle with your defenders
Under our flags, let victory
Hurry to your manly tone
So that in death your enemies
See your triumph and our glory!
