"Daybreak urgently reminds us that good political intentions are not sufficient to ensure the continuation of our democracy; informed vigilance is vital to that task."

Pollyanna
I spoke to DeFazio last year in Canyonville, and was terribly disappointed in his reaction to the suggestion of impeachment. He simply spouted the Democratic script about how it would take too much time away from the "important work facing Congress". I have to call B.S. on this! There's something the whole bunch of them are hiding. There's something the standing Democratic members of Congress don't want to be known. We don't expect any other reaction from the Republicans, after all BushCo. is THEIR chosen administration, and they've stuck together like glue. However, I have certainly expected a lot more from the Dems....... especially after the 2006 mid-term election.
Right after Pelosi took the position of Speaker, she went into a meeting with Dubya, and as soon as she emerged (looking like the proverbial deer in head lights), impeachment was "off the table". I will never be convinced that there weren't threats made in that meeting and that Pelosi folded. Harry Reid has shown no more leadership than has Ms Pelosi. Pathetic!
There's nothing more important than impeachment for repairing our republic with its democratic traditions. Pelosi should be impeached as well. She has failed to honor her oath of office, and has facilitated the administration's treasonous acts.

We have a bunch of "yahoos" and "bozos" in Congress. They are not listening to the people whose voices they said they would carry to Washington.
Our system is broken and this country is upside down. The Dems are as guilty as the Republicans.
I agree with you that I expected more out of the standing Democratic members of Congress.
Yes, it is pathetic.
What is the travesty is that we tax payers pay for their fabulous health care, retirement system, and their perks now and for the rest of their pathetic lives.
I am mad as hell. The Dems are cowards. What a sad state of affairs this country is in. It is upside down.
Update your address so we can find your Senators and Representative. If your current address is correct but your Representatives are missing, please contact us so we can fix your data.
