Fellow lovers of Peace,
Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Monday we have the opportunity to show the Inland Empire that People of Peace are alive and well. We can show that we are alive and well and swelling in number by coming out for the Martin Luther King, Jr. walk and celebration. Too many shopkeepers, who oppose the current administration, are silent because they are afraid of losing customers. Too many employees will are silent because they are afraid of retribution. Too many people are silent because they are afraid of being social outcasts. WHY, because they feel they are in the minority. Statically, they are the majority. Let’s prove it. Come, and walk. Or cheer from the sidelines with your signs. Participate in activities at the park. Fear is what this administration wants. There is strength in numbers. This time being a statistic is good. Show the Inland Empire that WE ARE HERE IN MASS AND WE WANT PEACE.
Citizens Action 4 Peace, CODEPINK, Redlands Democratic Club, and Pat Meagher for Congress are all walking for Peace. Come join us.
