Can we please get some Congressional support for lower interest rates on consumer loans and credit cards? I know the big financial "institutions" help pay to buy most people in Congress. Maybe there are a few national politicians who will speak up on behalf of US consumers who are being eaten alive by predatory, arbitrary, unilateral raises in interest rates (particularly by credit card companies). These high interest rates often make it impossible to repay loans (over 30% rates are permitted in NY). Maybe there are  politicians out there who calls themselves religious, who actually believe in restricting USURY!
