Impeachment Committee

I do not agree we are a bunch of anarchists. Congressman Olver, and his ilk try to portray us as such, but I just won't buy it. We are people who have come out of denial and fear, and touched upon our deep personal and morale convictions to turn around our nation's plunge into disgrace. We have no pot of money, we have something of far greater value, conscious contact with a deep seated belief in the moral high ground that needs guide our every thought, word, and deed so that we can live with pride in the beneficial nature of our American heritage and culture. It is upon this strength alone that we can arise through the oppressions of fear and warmongering, and give comfort, aid, and guidance to those around us who have succumbed and lost their inner strength and their way.

I can not help but observe the powerful energy that drives NEIC. How else would we have the energy to never give up, and to reach out to others to make them strong again in these convictions. Anarchists would want to disobey any rule of law. We simply seek the restoration of the rule of law, and our form of a democratic republic. The American law of equal justice and liberty for all.

Recall Howard Zinn on 10/27/07, directing us back to our founding document, The Declaration of Independence, and the rights of the People to form a more perfect union. We are up to no less, and our efforts are toward those common goals. We give so that we will receive what is our due in this land. Freedom from oppression, and nothing less, but a whole lot more.

Who's Seat Is It, Anyway.

When our sole representative refuses our will and goes over to the dark side, it has become time to find a better representative. If you believe that time has come, if not long past, then we are on the same page; and we need to coalesce to accomplish our own ends. On 6 November 2007, Congressman John Olver voted to table H. Res. 333, which calls for the impeachment of Richard B. Cheney, VP, in direct defiance of the clearly mandated will of a 2/3 majority of his constituents. Let's not delay in forming a more perfect union.

IMPEACH HIM

Just for the books everyone IMPEACH HIM, all of the posts have such quality! Boy, just when your strangled in fear on which you see and hear, runs out of the tv's day and night I get to see pages like these filled with people like me. We must be doing something right. This America will push those spoilers out and flush the dung from congress. Dennis is leading the way!! Cindy is leading the way, and its people like this that make me proud. I can not say enough about them. This country was never intended to be controlled or ruled by greedy greedy people, its people like rot to me. William Gates is another! I think they are just systematically wanting to replace us all. Get on good diets everyone, stay away from chocolate and sugar, stay away from sodas, pop etc, the stuff that tears our bodies down, and get strong to fight this circus of freaks. Demand more from your congressmen or get them out, start a campaign door to door, boycott the gas stations and shut it all down. We have liberty, and this country will not become waste...not with the spirited people I read on this blog. Its time for all good men and women to come to the aid of their country. IMPeach IMPeach IMpeach.

Dear Members of the State Board of Elections:

I urge you to make the following changes in the draft regulations for Part 6210, "Routine Maintenance and Testing of Voting Systems and Operational Procedures."

1. Visual illustrations should accompany the verbal descriptions of how paper ballots can be marked and how to interpret the marks.

2. Procedures for security and other purposes should not be delegated to county boards, but should be developed by experts under contract to the State Board.

3. Any models or diagrams used in pollsites to show voters how to use new equipment must be required to show how to locate and verify the voter-verifiable paper audit record of DREs, and how to locate and use the override button of Optical Scanners that voters can use to cause their ballot to be accepted even though it has overvotes or undervotes.

4.The regulations should require the choice "None of the above" in all contests, so that paper ballots need not contain undervotes if voters do not wish to vote for a candidate in a contest.

5. The use of system logs for pre- and post-election testing should be specified, as well as the use of system logs in investigation of discrepancies found during audits.

6. The regulations should require the use of cameras to record the keyboard, mouse, and display screen when the EMS (Election Management System) and all other equipment is used or subject to maintenance in the county board or its storage facility.

7. County boards must be accountable to the public, so the role of the public should be specified in the regulations, including the right of citizens to:
**participate by observing all procedures;
**easily obtain information about audits including when and where the random selection of machines and the audit itself will take place and all reports created.

8. Even simple security breaches, such as the compromising of a single password, can result in tampering that changes the outcome of all contests in an election within the county. When security breaches occur, the regulations should require county boards of elections to request assistance of law enforcement authorities to investigate.

Sincerely yours,

gemma hakins
