Rally right before General Petraeus and U.S. ambassador Ryan C. Crocker testify before the House Armed Services Committee and House Foreign Affairs Committee in the Cannon Caucus Room 345 at 12:30pm

A critical moment in Congress comes this Monday when General Patraeus testifies before the House Armed Services Committee. It is important for there to be a strong showing of opposition to the Iraq occupation inside the hearing room, in the hall way and outside of Congress. Some who will be attending will be risking arrest because this is such a pivotal moment in the debate over continuation of the Iraq war; others will be there just for the rally. Let’s not let the Bush administration and their supporters in Congress repackage and resell the occupation of Iraq. We must be there in significant numbers to say: We are not buying more war. There is no military solution. Bring the troops home!”
