In the past three weeks, many of you have participated in town hall meetings, public forums, and personal meetings with your members of Congress.

Thank you to all who spoke clearly and directly to Representatives and Senators -- calling for ending funding for U.S. military operations in Iraq, and rapidly withdrawing U.S. troops from Iraq.

These personal visits must now be followed up with dozens of phone calls to your members of Congress - at local district offices (while Congress is in recess until Sept. 4th).

PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD! Encourage others to call by forwarding this message.

It is important that your Congresspersons' District offices receive scores of phone calls on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Whether you already met with your Congressperson or not -

Now please call their local offices and tell them to do the right thing - STOP FUNDING THE WAR!
