The Bush Administration has been put our system of Democracy at risk. Americans want impeachment to restore the rule of law and stop abuses of power by the Executive. After five years of State of Emergency, the Patriot Act, The Military Commissions Act, and continual War and occupations, our Constitutional republic is at the breaking point. Impeachment is the remedy. Citizens demand that HRes. 333, Articles of Impeachment for Dick Cheney, be cosigned by our Representatives to Congress now.

The movement to impeach is a nonpartisan effort to restore the rule of law. Investigations are needed to defend the Constitution and call this government into account. The American people will not tolerate being spied upon, lying to justify war, torture, and extraordinary rendition. No President is above the law. We need to act now before President Bush chokes the life out of our Democracy. We need to act now before President Bush and Vice President Cheney launch another war of aggression in Iran.

Congress has failed to exercise its role as a separate and equal branch of government. HRes. 333, to impeach Cheney, is being ignored by too many members of congress. Even after five years of state of emergency; removal of Habeus Corpus; subversion of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights; and the creation of a "Unitary Presidency," Congress fails to do its job.

Critics say that impeachment would be a distraction. They are wrong. Impeachment is the Constitutional remedy for a government that has become a burden to its people, and acts outside the law. Citizens of Washington State say enough is enough. Impeach! Bush, you're fired.
