So many of us are waiting for Al to jump into the '08 race. To all those people, I say it's time to stop waiting and start becoming active in the effort to draft Gore. He, of course, has not ruled out running, and most people, myself included, see him as the most qualified man for the job. He was the first major politician to oppose the Iraq invasion back in 2002, he has single-handedly made global warming a national issue and continues to do so, he is for single-payer health care, and has been prescient on a number of other issues like the Internet. Not to mention, he's already won a national election before.

To all those who want to desperately do something, but don't know what, join Netroots for Gore. Netroots for Gore currently has over 250 members, almost all of which are bloggers, who represent the online arm of the Draft Gore efforts. We write and recommend diaries, break news, respond rapidly to attacks, and once we get done registering as a PAC, will begin raising money.
