I am starting this thread to see who is feeling patriotic. Who seeks to uphold the Constitution? Who recognizes impeachment as the necessary process for preserving our democracy?
I plan to write more as time allows, but for now I wish to simply open the door, turn on the lights, and see who cares to assemble.

impeachment
I must have been asleep, paralyzed or just not paying enough attention. No, it's more of a sense of utter futility. Going to End the War rallies and seeing maybe 20 other people. Knowing of countless atrocities committed by the Bush regime and the media moguls just ignore them. Thinking of the opportunity costs of this damn war.
The only way to get their attention is impeachment. Bush doesn't get it and Cheney doesn't care. So, impeachment is the ONLY way to reclaim the Constitution and democracy.
I have joined The World Cant Wait and I am starting today to organize a local chapter. I hope you and others on this blog will join me. Town hall type meetings to start, petitions, meetings with our congressional reps and senators, etc. Anything and everything. But we just can't wait.
