Busboys and Poets Productions presents: "FOCUS IN! cinema for a conscious community." Our newest in-house series offers weekly film screenings from both local and international filmmakers focusing on themes of social justice, peace, and community value.
This week we will screen excerpts from: "The Bush Crimes Commission Hearings." This is the evidence - with substance and fact - in the form of stunning testimony from eyewitnesses, whistle-blowers and experts, that this regime is guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Segments presented include: "Wars of Aggression," "Torture and Indefinite Detention," "Attacks on Global AIDS Programs," "Destruction of the Global Environment," and "Response to Hurricane Katrina: Before, During, and After."
