To All People Afflicted by Disease or Permanent Injuries:  US drug companies are extremely profitable, but have no incentive at all to invest in private stem cell research.  They are very good at maintaining a disease, but in our opinion have no desire to find cures. After all, if they found cures through stem cell research, they would lose money.

In our opinion, we believe that stem cell researchers have their hands tied by federally funded NIH grants and the drug companies know it.  (As an example, we heard recently that insulin was developed 80 years ago over a weekend by a couple of researchers, but nothing has happened since, except more sales of gizmos and gadgets by the drug companies.) We believe people with all types of diseases and permanent injuries all would like to live a normal life. We all need to come together and raise funds for private stem cell research in the US. Funds to allow stem cell researchers to conduct research that they want to do without limitations except for cloning.

According to private stem cell researcher interviews conducted, grants issued by the NIH are limited in scope and restrictive.  We need to give stem cell researchers the total autonomy they need to conduct their own research and therapy. Because of US laws, researchers are currently having to go outside the US to conduct private stem cell research and therapies.  If our goal is to find real potential cures and not just maintain diseases, we need to form private stem cell research and therapy companies here in the US.  If you are interested in becoming involved in this type of grass-roots pro-cure movement, please contact stemcell1111@yahoo.com.
