Bob Woodward took on Richard Nixon and exposed the Watergate scandal.  Dennis Miller skewered Ronald Reagan. James Carville managed Bill Clinton's winning campaign against Bush 41.

Cut to today and  we have Woodward writing a book that glorifies Bush, Miller mocking Democrats and worshiping Bush, and just this past month, Carville attacking Howard Dean, calling for his ouster, and writing a letter to the judge urging leniency for Scooter Libby.

What's next, Keith Olbermann joining FOX?  OK, that's not going to happen (knock on wood) but what is going on with former advocates of progressive causes moving to the right?  I thought people are supposed to get wiser with age.  What is leading these folks astray?
