ME, Ogunquit: Town Hall Meeting on Impeachment

Ogunquit will host a region-wide educational evening on issues related to the growing national movement on Impeachment.
The meeting will take place in the Dunaway Center Auditorium, 14 School Street, Ogunquit at 7 PM on Thursday June 7.
Co-sponsoring the event are the Freedom Rousers of Southern Maine and the Maine Campaign to Impeach of York County. This event is open to the public and is free.
A Town Meeting format will be the cornerstone of the evening. This will ensure ample opportunity for spirited exchanges among those in attendance.
Attorney John Kaminski, President of Maine Lawyers for Democracy, a group whose mission is to "promote the democratic process and the free exercise of Constitutional rights and liberties" will discuss the issues involved in the impeachment process along with House Resolution 333, a bill to impeach Vice President Cheney, filed by U.S. Congressman Dennis Kucinich.
Deborah Gordon of Maine Campaign to Impeach will provide a brief history of the MaineImpeach.org campaign in Maine - a campaign that delivered petitions with 11,223 names to the State House on May 29. Deborah will also summarize the Campaign's current impeachment-related activities.
The Freedom Rousers of Southern Maine is a group of citizens concerned about the erosion of civil liberties guaranteed by the Constitution.
Herb Hoffman will be the evening's moderator.
