PROGRESSIVE MURAL PROJECT aka BURNING THE HOUSE DOWN

Just north of Faribault, Minnesota is a one story, 3200 sq ft building, for years States Tavern and later a four-plex residence, Twin Oaks. This building has been condemned and will be burned on the evening of May 31, 2007.

There are seven of us preparing for the burn. We ask for your help. There are just two days left while the exterior surface is being muralized by artists with meanings of rebirth from fire, expressing social concerns suggesting inclusive diversity vs an exclusive mono=culture; choice; evolution; positivity over negativity; learning from our mistakes; awakening and awareness; creativity and grwoth; and of course........POLITICAL REGIME CHANGE.

Come and help us paint (call to coordinate timing) on Tuesday and or Wednesday. Or come to the buring on Thursday starting around 7:00 pm. We especally request your interest as a film maker/videographer or visual/performing artist.
