I think you need to do a little more research into exactly how your chosen representative actually votes.In fact she basically LIES to you below, Nita Lowey was among the dems who voted to TABLE the resolution before voting to send it to committee.  Both of those votes are basically a vote to quash the bill, but her prior vote to table was a vote to kill the bill entirely.There is no excuse for any congressperson who questions the intelligence behind the invasion, and who claims to be outraged at the 'secrecy', etc, and who claims below to demand investigations, to have not voted with the others urging an immediate debate.  Lowey's vote to table is grounds for your district to PUT HER OUT OF OFFICE, and for you to personally work to that end, and let her know you don't approve!I suspect your representative is in the pocket of pelosi, and as such she is a shill, not any sort of justice-seeking liberal of any kind as she here claims.  You need to call her and address with her the fact that she lies to you below, despite your centuries of supporting her every election.  In fact her vote to 'committee' was the second vote, and she originally voted to table, meaning that she is NOT interested in 'vetting' anything, she's interested as is Pelosi and Hoyer, in 'killing' any and all real opposition to the administration, and certainly she is now forever and indelibly on record as a bogus, hollow fake.  Based on her canned letter below, I would question everything about this person and her votes, and do some more research before falling for this.  Nita Lowey represents far too many important lefties to be allowed this blanket 'yea' from her constituents who mistakenly believe she is voting your best interest.  DON'T FALL FOR IT!  I hate politics, but we now see that it REALLY MATTERS and millions of lives are at stake.  Notice that MY representative Hinchey voted correctly, likely because we've been BOMBARDING him with our opinions on the matter.  If you were not bombarding your representative with demands that she pursue impeachment for the admin's high crimes, then in the end you have nobody to blame for her flagrant violation of the desires of the constituency she represents, than yourselves.  I was not kidding when I said write to your reps, it does work, but you have to participate.  Berating the town zoning board over your neighbor's antics is not nearly enough political involvement, if in fact saving lives from the criminal militaristic brutality committed by the Bush admin in your name with your money remains in your mind.  Nobody is saying you need to become Cindy Sheehan and actually do anything radical.  But writing your reps relentlessly in such an unprecedented matter of such historic national genocide is your least responsibility as a concerned citizen.  I hate it too, but it is our civic duty to support the one lawmaker working so hard to legislate for peace and justice against this tidal wave of complicity in congress and the public.  It is wrong and irresponsible for anyone who ever took a stand for peace, to not become involved now, after 5 years of standing by watching our government do the most horrific things it's ever done in your entire adult life.  It's unacceptable, and to not take a stand is to be complicit in war-crimes.Keep tabs on the votes of your representatives here:http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2007/roll1037.xmlFind out what REAL concerned citizens are doing to effect progress against this criminal administration here:http://www.afterdowningstreet.org/(PS, Ron Paul is another lying hypocrite, and all his complaints about his party's illegal wars and abuse of the constitution fall flat, now that he's shown his true colors.  He's NOT in any way going to resist anything this admin did, as evidenced by his updated voting record).
