Time to take Action
Have been watching and listening and am tired of politics as usual. Figured I needed to start taking some action or stop complaining - so here I am! Any plans for District 16 and Manzullo????

You put it perfectly! Politics as usual. I am so angry that our government has forgotten about us!!! It's all a political game now a days!
Where in D-16 are you located? I'm part of the Mchenry Co. Dems. Its great to finally have some help here in Northern IL!! Manzullo has gone too long without a reality check from his constituents. We definatly need to get some more members and get a louder voice. I'm thinking of participating in some of the County Fairs around D16 this summer, to recruit more people. Writing to Manzullo is useless, I've written dozens of times and get the same old "Thank you response". Hopefully by Sept or Oct we can put some sort of rally/protest together and show him were sick of this status quo!!!
I'm not sure if you've heard Robert G. Abboud, he is currently the mayor of Barrington Hills. He is running against Manzullo in 2008. I will contact him this week and see if hed be willing to help out!

Thanks for replying. I live in Lake In The Hills and can't contribute a lot of $$ or a lot of time, but I'm willing to donate what time and money I can. Who is this Randi Scheurer ? She seems to have several backings all ready. I don't know Robert Abboud at all. I'm going to investigate this Randi person and see what she has to offer. Please let me know what you find out about Abboud. I suppose we should back one person - don't know who at this point!!! - but try and oust the traitor Bean, one way or another.
