The most arrogant, corrupt, unqualified, incompetent administration in US history.
If you have been watching ANY of the oversight hearings being conducted by Congress...GSA (Doan), US attorney firings, Iraq...you name it, you have to come to the conclusion that most of the people appointed by Bush withing the various executive agencies and departments are miserably unqualified for their positions and those who appointed them and who continue to support them are arrogant, corrupt, and themselves incompetent. Nothing more than political ideologs with little or no interest in protecting the American people or the US Constitution but rather have as their main purpose in life to garner all power and most wealth for themselves and their families.

Doesn't this all just leave you wondering..........
Doesn't this all just leave you wondering what the hell they were actually positioning these people for? Could it be a coup d'etat? I believe this may be the case. All their little robots in place, what would stop them? This is extremely serious and we all need to wake up and smell the coffee be for it is too late. We must convince Speaker Pelosi that Impeachment must be on the table and IMMEDIATELY!
I agree with you.
But there is little hope to get impeachment on the table. Most of the public is just too damn comfortable to care. They are not engaged either because of too much wealth or not enough. The average working public is too stressed out trying to keep their homes, jobs, and sanity. A draft would wake all sleepers up. But one thing is for sure: the voting public must understand by now what it means to keep sending Republican, ultra right neocons to Congress and the WH. The only way our Constitutuion gets protected from the royal Presidency and a justice system that will protect the white collar criminals that are robbing us blind is to send more Independents and prinicpled Dems to the Congress and WH. The power to appoint the kind of people we need must not fall into the hands of another administration like this one.
Unfortunately, the
Unfortunately, the Republicans are not the only Party which sends neocons to Washington. The DLC "centrist" faction of the Democratic Party has its fair share of neocons as well.
As for "Independents," and other third-Party representives, it would be futile to waste time, money, or votes on them. Our country has evolved into a two-Party, uniquely American, electoral and governance system, and it works well when it is not allowed to be dominated by corporate influence -- on either side of the aisle.
To attempt to turn our Constitutional form of government into a European-style, multi-Party free-for-all, would bring only more corruption and "back-alley" political manuvering to Washington. It would be a corporate K-Street dream come true.
Yes, and...
I agree- remember the tumultous times of the dark-horse candidates, with people claiming to represent random factions such as the Bull-Moose Party. The Independents are brave but unproductive, and their point is good- we Dems haven't come up with an ideal solution- but on the other hand neither have they.
The headline of the main post said it all- what possibly can I add, other than Big Brother has already arrived. (Check for the wires behind your light-switches, those of you who have watched Lives of Others.)
It is our duty, as the REAL patriots of this beleaguered nation, to defend the Constitution and save it from annihilation at the hands of the Bush conspirators.
Beware the Ides of 2008, Pseudo-President Bush!
