Helping Hurricane Katrina Victims

Hello Supporters

I am a Persian Gulf War Veteran that was displaced from Louisiana due to Hurricane Katrina. I am presently homeless, sleeping in my vehicle x12 days without a source of income in the state of GEORGIA. I have not had stable housing or job since I arrived in Georgia. I am separated from my 13-year-old son, Brandon. I have not received Rental Assistance from FEMA since March 2006, and neither as a resident of Georgia, have I received assistance from the local, state or Federal government.  I do not get money from the military because I did not retired from the military nor do I have a disability.

It is time to take a stand to help the Hurricane Katrina Victims. We need to improve tactfully on what has been done and initiate things that has not been done to overcome all of this negativity. There are over 70,000 Katrina victims still struggling to make it in this world in the year of 2007. Many are still homeless, unemployed, separated from families and is in poor health- physically, mentally and socially. Therefore, the Hurricane Katrina Victims are in need of stable housing, permanent source of income, medical care and jobs.

Let's help get the volunteers who clear away the rubbish that FEMA is ignoring to displace the people.  We have got to send money to transport and feed the volunteers who come during the college spring break.

Charity begins at home.

Support the victims of Hurricane Katrina and feel good about doing something positive for the people.

Peace!
