Tuesday was the founding meeting of CDIC for OK-1, founded at the "Moving America Forward" event, of DFA-Tulsa, 20th Feb 2007. We have veteran activists, progressives, members of Tulsa Peace Fellowship and young members, including from TulsaTruthOut.org, as well as one resident skeptic. Every good cause needs a doubter.

The plan of action is: 1) letters/visits to Rep. Sullivan, to descry oil & defence conflicts of interest of VP Cheney, and to militate for impeachment of Cheney; 2) start a campaign for an impeachment bill to be brought forward at the OK State Legislature in OKC, in conjunction with other state legislatures doing an end-run around a lazy or lacklustre U.S. Congress; and 3) individual D-I-Y petitions sent to the Hon. Ron Paul (R-Texas), for him to introduce an impeachment bill in Congress, since the Hon. Sullivan (OK-1) has deaf ears.
