Impeachment Committee

When it comes to impeachment, I want to help.  Democrats were elected in great numbers to send a message to the current administration that we, the people, their bosses, were not going to idly sit by and let them do whatever they wanted.  If Bill Clinton could face impeachment charges over lying about his sexual relations, something that did not result in deaths of thousands and destabilizing a foreign country or result in trying to destroy the Constitution...then Bush, Cheney and this current administration needs to face impeachment for their serious actions.

If Nancy Pelosi wants to remain in office, she should consider the people are demanding impeachment and not a slap on the wrist.  It should be front and center on the table.  Not doing so WILL cause a backlash at the presidential election.  Any member of Congress planning on running for office had better consider it because not supporting impeachment will come back to haunt them.  They may have been tricked into supporting the war, but they know the truth about a rogue team lying to the people and the constant fear campaign to let them get away with doing whatever they want.  This needs to end now.

Lets Honk for Impeachment

I agree. Are you meeting tonight at NPJC? love,Eliz

Well, I've been contacting

Well, I've been contacting my elected officials, [ please make a note that I refuse to call these elected official, representatives. ] and none have even as much as acknowledged my conserns. Being from Tn, democratic voices are very seldom heard, much less acknowledged by our Fedral elected persons. My one democratic offical, is nothing more than a pawn for Nancy Pelosi. And in my opinion, she is pro George W Bush, and his criminal adminstration. She is a BIG DISGRACE to the Democratic Party.

In my opinion, George W Bush should have been impeached in 2003, before his attack on our Constitution, and his unwillingness to support many of our national laws. Many of us are still concerned that GWB's agenda is STILL moving toward a dictator type government. { if you don't beleive it yourself} simply type in your search box; Aldolph Hitler- George W Bush, press GO and read for yourself the almost identical political journey that these two tyrannts' used to gain control of their countries. Read for yourself about how members of the Bush family helped finance Hilter's rise to power. Read for yourself how Hitler's use of the German Corporate World to take control of the economy and the job markets.

This man and his cronies SHOULD BE IMPEACHED, and put in prison for ignoring the people and the Constitution of the United States.

If you happen to be someone who don't want to know the REAL TRUTH about what this traitor has done to our country, You too are part of the problem. Are you aware that when the GWB regime dupped the people with lies about the bail-vote, that the overwhelmping response by the American people, overloaded the e-mail system, as well as the phone system in Washington D.C. by people who cared about the defeat of GWB's attempt to fleece the "We the People" yet another time, 86-92% of the people said loud and clear to these elected officials, VOTE NO to Bush's lies. "We the People" were once again IGNORED by these elected officials. Guess who lead the effort to give GWB what he wanted? Nancy Pelosi, and Lamar Alexander.

Bush

"If you happen to be someone who don't want to know the REAL TRUTH about what this traitor has done to our country, You too are part of the problem."

You started out by attempting to get folks interested in pursuing the question of Bush mimicking Hitler's rise to power. You then bash them them with "your either with us or against us". I think you would be more convincing if you dropped that line.

Misread

Jim, thanks for the response. I wrote my comments in a different context. I have studied the relationship between the Hitler and the Bush families for several years now. As a matter of fact, most of the parallel similaries have been removed from the original web sites when they started to become a public awareness fact.
It was not my intention to say that I provided the facts or it was I who drew the first intent that the two men had very similiar means of rising to power.
My comment about the real truth is simply that. Many people I know, and many more who I've read about, only want to know what they want to hear, and still today say that George W Bush has not been responsable for his many blunders. They too, blame someone else for these failures. They have no interest in what is real, only what they chose to beleive.
Thanks again for your comment Jim. It would be hard for me to drop that linebecause it is true, in my opinion.

I was not referring to the truth/falsity of the statement ;)

I was just noting that IF you want to persuade folks who presently don't agree with you point, then the "with us or against us" rhetoric, however true in an absolute sense, is not the best approach.

And don't get me wrong. Shame has its place. It's simply not clear to me that after Bush has exhausted folks with the "with us or against us" stuff, they'd be motivated by it.

---

As to its truth: The mere mention of Hitler, along with the name of Bush, will always be a hard sell because Bush was orders of magnitude less "successful" than Hitler even if disagreeing parties decided to agree just for the sake of argument, that Bush's intentions were as Hitlers.

What might help get details across WITHOUT having folks think you are implying that Bush=Hitler is comparing a several people's rise to power.

Anyway, just a few random thoughts...

Jim
