"Purge" instead of "Surge"

Now, our illustrious administration is preparing to start a war with Iran. Apparently, Iraq was just a 'dry run.' This is what the "surge" is about. How much longer is Congress going to sit around with its collective thumb up its behind without doing something about the insanity?!?

I'm so sick of nothing being done, that I have sent the following missive to Speaker Pelosi and a copy to one of my state senators.

"Dear Senator Pelosi,

I follow the daily news with more and more misgivings. No one seems to be able to stop the chicanery and nonsense in our Administration.

I was thrilled when the Democrats won, in November, but so far, I haven't seen anything that indicates that the new group is going to make very many changes (which is why we voted you in, remember?).

Now, the new word about Iraq is that there will be a new "surge" there. Well, the majority of Americans don't want a "surge" in Iraq. What we want is a "purge" in the White House!

The Administration has no interest and does not care what the people of this country think or want. They're going to steamroll their opinions over all of us. We're counting on you, Ms. Pelosi, and your fellow Congress men and women to make some changes. Don't just stand there -- DO something.

I can't even begin to imagine why you would say that impeachment for Bush and Cheney is "off the table." They've broken so many of our country's laws, you must all be wading through corridors of rubble.

Millions of Americans want impeachment, at the very least, for these criminals against democracy. They've done far more harm than Bill Clinton ever thought of doing, and yet everyone pussy-foots around the issue. GWB has no intention of "working together," and neither should you! We don't want our representatives working with criminals. Get them out of there and restore our Democracy, our Constitution, and our country.

"Purge" instead of "surge.""

I agree

With you. However, I have sent numerous "missives" just like that one. My only hope is that she (and the other people like her??) listens.

The Massive Military Action In Iraq, Bigger Is Not Better

The Reformers in Iran knocked down
Ajmenijab big time with the Iranian
version of Parliament. This is a homegrown political movement and is not
vintage Bush Toledo Window Box.
Bush is using brute force cybernetics and is expecting the military
to start from scratch and create a
political arrangement that is void of
homegrown elements.
We need to rely on the good sense of the Muslims of Iran and Iraq and their desire to live the good life. They want to have their own stereo, apartment, car and a good job. We need to rely on desire from organic elements withing Muslim populations of Iraq and Iran and rely much less on our military.

Jerry Brown Sec of Defense, The Insurgent Campaign

This is a rock solid proposal. We need the former Mayor of Oakland as Secretary of Defense. He could lead the
insurgent campaign in Iran with the
Reformers leading the charge against the
madman Ajmenijab.
He is the champion of freedom fighters in Oakland.
