Sean and the Constitution
Sean,it's not about us losing the election. It is about us losing rights. What more could Bush do to us that he hasn't already done? He has lied us into fighting an illegal war, he has sent many of us into poverty living from check to check, he thinks that everything should be privatized, and he has allowed Americans to die from his neglect. Now, even though the American people want an end to Iraq, he is talking about us winning and sending more troops there. We need him out of office while this country is still in existence. Your ignorance is limitless.

Think about this
Where in the constition, the bill or rights, does it say we have the right to privacy? The word privacy is not there. It is only by the 9th amendment is it taken to think that we have the right to privacy. For many year, long before Bush, long before Reagan and long before many of us were around, we Americans have been spyed on my our governement, primarily starting back in the 1950's with the Red Scare. I am not for anyone looking into what i say to do on the phone or the internet. However, I think it is necessary and there is nothing absolutly nothing anyone of can do to stop our rights from being infrenged on. We will have to live with what our governement put in to place 50 to 60 years ago to stop communist. The only differnece is that now days we have the means to see and to watch what our elected officals do due to the liberal media. Now, what is an illegal war? You mean the power that the persident was given by the War Resolutioins act of 1970 and amended in 2001 by our congress? How has the Bush administration put you in to poverty? I was worst off during the Clinton administration. How come you are not complaining that there is such a large amount of people on welfare that we are supporting? How come you are not mad that there are so many illegal workers here taking jobs that we Americans should be doing? How come you are not mad that businesses say that illegals are doing jobs you dont want to do? If you are living pay check to pay check is it because you made bad decisions or you over extened yourself? Are you doing what it takes to make ends meet? What everything is being privitized? Who is being negelected? As a former investigatro or child abuse in Texas, there are alot of neglected children and elderly but how can you blame the president for people being neglected? it is like blaming the president for people dieing in a hurricane in the south. How come you dont blame those who lived there, who watched on the news that the hurricane was coming? How come your not mad at the local and state government for not reacting faster? How come you are not mad that we are still "proping" up those in Lousiana? How come the president has to hold the states hands? In one breath you say you want the president to do more but then you say you want him to do less. which is it? more or less? If Gore would have won the 2000 electioin, this country would still be getting attacted on our own soil. Gore's policies were that of Clinton; run, hide, ignore, appeasement, blow up American buildings to get the heat off him and basically ignore the wolves at the door that out to hurt the US. How come you guys that say you are in poverty are not mad adn calling for inquiries on why 90% of our products are made in China? Can't Americans build,make and manufature our own goods? why? Why is it you guys are not pissed that we are paying so much for gas? IM more pissed at Bush and the Administration for allowing gas companies kill us with gas prices. I am more made at allthe presidents, especailly Clinton, for allowing companies go over seas and take jobs from us. I am more mad at Clinton for not taking care of Bin Laden and Hussan and Somolia when we had the chance when they were not so strong. I do not agree with all that Bush has done. I think he has tried to do his best, but no one is perfect at all.

Despite what you have been told, there is NO liberal media. Hasn't been for well over 20 years.
As for allowing American companies to go overseas and take the jobs with them...you can blame Ronnie Raygun. It was he who set up a department in DC to help companies do just that. That went on for 8 years under Raygun, continued with Daddy Bush, was slowed to some extent under Clinton, and now is a set policy of the Repugnant party.
You really are most uninformed or really badly misinformed. Would you care to tell us who told you the things you are repeating here?

-More debt piled up than All previous administrations combined.
-An additional hundred thousand worth of debt for ALL families of four due to Conservatives no longer collecting taxes from the leisure class as before.
-Tripling of gas prices.

Don't bother yourself worrying about poor bums. Rich bums have your money:
-50% of all Americans make ~1.5 inches of hundred dollar bills per year.
-90% of all Americans make ~4 inches of hundred dollar bills per year.
-Some in the top 1% make a stack of hundred dollar bills 30 miles high!!!
That does not pass the smell test.
In addition, the majority of professions continue to fall FURTHER behind top tier professions.
America needs defending from the rich man's Socialism of Aristocracy yet all we get from the Right is railing against Communists and Dinosaurs (in their undisciplined assault on the hard work of Science).
Americans can ill afford to align with the "boss" as Republicans withdrawal capital from our best and brightest (geniuses slide out of poor wombs as well as rich). The vast majority are vastly underpaid if one's only goal is simply to advance American power via a robust Economy. Only American Liberalism defends the vast majority of professions.
Don't morn for monopolies, fight them.

The gas prices are going to remain as high as the market can possibly bear, mainly because that what was what was agreed to during Cheney's energy meetings, the minutes of which he fights not to release. What's he hiding?
New Orleans was not just a fun city, totally unique to our country, but it was also a national seaport. It is the job of the federal government to protect and/or rebuild those areas that are neccessary for the functioning of the nation's commerce and so forth.
The people who call themselves Republicans are not Republicans. They are authoritarian corporatists who do not care one whit about your well being or mine.
They care about two things: Money and power at any costs, as long as they do not have to pay much, if any, of the cost.
These people, who must be held accoutabe for what they have done and how they have gove about it, are ideological and dogmatic to points of deep pathology. They exhibit a amojority of symptoms of such deep states of pathology as Bipolar disorder, socio and psychopatholgy. in some cases.
I remember, after the Nixom impeachment, when we found out just how paranoid, drunk and psyhcotic he had been during those last months and weeks in the White House. I don't believe I have ever been so frightened about something in the past, as how very sick Nixon was, with his finger on the button, until Alexander Haig had the good sence to take the "football" away from him, and give it Jerry Ford, without Nixon's knowledge.
Nixon, actually did have a conscious. Even paranoids have a conscious.
I would not count on conscious being much of a factor in Bush's and Cheney's decsion-making.
