If our representatives won't impeach Bush, why not consider a petition to remove them? if they haven't at least signed a letter, etc. for impeachment? If any President ever broke so many Constitutional laws, lied, and robbed us...I can't remember who.

Aren't they all so buddy, buddy in Congress? They're all so happy and confortable with each other. They act like they belong to a big Neo Con frat club. They are impressed with their status and power. They joke about the Constitution,etc. We aren't. Who said the conflict and division was bad for us? Our democracy and safety is in danger and they act like it is a big game.

I've never seen so many expensive suits as in the Senate by the male members. They've been to fashion consultants...you can tell.

Vanity Fair, "Portraits of Power", February issue had an artilce about the DC crowd, Congressional power people, and future candidates for President. It was so biased and arrogant.

They mention what the other party/media says about them not what "We the Democratic people" think. We're out of the discussion. We do elect/sponsor them you know.

Ford (DLC candidate) of TN is a globalist and Faith Based candidate who lost the election for Democrats. It was a big loss. They act like he is on the fast track to power. What!

The country is turning Progressive yet the DLC goes forward with their global agenda.

One man called into talk radio to suggested a national strike. I can't do it myself since I am retired. I'd contribute for a sign or transportation for some to protest. If they won't listen and keep silencing citizen's concerns, a protest or strike may be the least they have to worry about.

Impeachment, is supposedly one of our invaluable Democratic Process rights. That is, if Bush doesn't Excute an Executive Order declaring it a, "Treasonable Offense" first. I've some to believe and old saying that one rotten apple can spoil the whole barrel.
Only when Bush runs out of sub-ordinates willing to take responsibilities for his actions"by commission or omission" will Impeachment be possible.
As for Cheney! It looks like an air tight case against him despite the ifs,ands, and buts his defense will offer. The biggest (but) being Cheney is not the Commander-in-Chief, Bush is.
Don't be surprised when either or both trials (if ever started) end with the conclusion Bush and/ or Cheney's actions were "Inappropriate BUT Legal.
Impeachment Denied!

High crimes and misdemeanors. Doesn't "misdemeanor" cover inappropriate action that may not be technically illegal? Is it misdemeanor to manufacture evidence for war or to conduct illegal surveillance of US citizens? How about to rewrite the definition of torture so that you can claim that torture isn't torture so that you can torture? Is incompetence a misdemeanor? How incompetent does a president have to be before you put him on the bench?

The big question of the day is, are the democrats any more capable of choosing constitution over re-election, principle over party than the republicans were? Will this congress investigate and impeach if they find sufficient evidence? How about the war? Will this congress take bold action to bring this war to an end, or will they do just enough to get re-elected in 08?

Ah well, you got make do with the congress you've got, not necessarily the congress you want.

This Saturday, February 17 we will be in Tom Davis' neighborhood for a demonstration in favor of defunding the war. We will assemble at the intersection of Chain Bridge Road and Hunter Mill Road Vienna for an hour or so of peaceful demonstration. Please bring your bills. We want to demonstrate that we have far too many to pay to fund an illegal war.
