Anybody interested in gathering with me for a protest in Mankato, MN? I was thinking we could gather a nice crowd of people and protest at Minnesota State University-Mankato. Either that or the mall. Any thoughts?

I was quite disappointed a couple of months ago when Feingold took himself out of the running for president. Since then it's been a who-is-next-best choice for me; and that is Edwards. But once again the Democractic party's centrist cowards are caving into the right-wing war mongers. I don't get it; I thought we won a majority in Congress. Even Edwards is afraid to stand up against the war in tough way. I was expecting this would happen actually and shouldn't be taken aback, because of who comprises the Democratic party, too many people like Clinton, Biden, Bayh, and even Pelosi & Reid. In another era these politicians would have been staunch Republicans with the same views they have now.

I think if you put Edwards in drag he'd look a lot like Hilary.
Hard to believe the last two VP candidates were Edwards and (gasp)Liebermann. Still, I think Al Gore should run. He's got a hot topic with the global warming and could put a magnifying glass on the environment.

I really like John Edwards even though a while ago I said I would never vote for anyone who voted for the war. And I think it is sinful to try to dismiss Edwards because of his looks. I don't think Al Gore should run for President I think he should run for Secretary of the Environment(Interior) under the next president. I also really believe in the concept of a people's impeachment process, and I think the House Judiciary committee should empower both sides to present their case to the committee since they seem to think that an official hearing would be too burdensome to the important business of the Congress--or perhaps they are simply terrified, understandably, that the administration is still in power.

Fritzi, it was a lame attempt at humor on my part. I meant to say that Edwards and Hilary are similar in that they seem to be telling people what they think is going to get them elected. I wouldn't vote for someone because of their look, but because of their ideas.
