I have talked with Sophie de Vries who is the coordinator on how to organise a commitee for the 5th district. I am glad to see another committee in Oklahoma. I wish you luck. I think we can coordinate our efforts.
I may be getting a little ahead of myself, but if Bush and Cheney are impeached we would need 16 republicans for removal. After impeachment all the impeachment committees in Oklahoma should consolidate to try to persuade our senators to convict.
We'll greet the idiotic folks paying 2000 for a photo with dick. Cheney is coming to campaign for OK Senator Jim Inhofe (his term ends 2008, hopefully putting an end to a nationwide embarassment that his senatorial term has been since he was elected).

Cheney will be here on Friday April 27 2007 at the Downtown Doubletree Hotel.. Groups from Tulsa and Oklahoma City will be there to let him know what we think of Bushco . All are invited to join in the fun. Bring a smile and a sign.
Two activists infiltrated the Lions Club Town Hall meeting August 14, where the Hon. Sullivan was speaking publicly in Tulsa, after a very long period of insulation from his constituents.
We sat through his propagandistic claims for this industry or that (the ones providing major campaign contributions to Sullivan), and we listened to him make the "business as usual" partisan attacks, and then we were finally given the opportunity to ask him pointed questions on Iraq and the need for impeachment. Ours were the last two questions of the session, before it broke up.
There is only a 2-line mention in Wednesday's paper, about the impeachment discussion in public with the Representative for OK1:
"Two members of the audience tried to draw Sullivan into discussing possible impeachment of Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney, but the three-term Republican refused to respond." by: RANDY KREHBIEL Tulsa World Staff Writer 8/15/2007 http://www.tulsaworld.com/news/article.aspx?articleID=070815_1_A8_spanc4...
The real story; There was a short question and answer session. After sitting, ignored, with arms outstretched until what looked like approaching the session end, One activist lept to his feet waving frantically and was chosen for a question.
"Given that Bush continued a wiretapping, spy program that a Federal Judge had already found illegal, making him a criminal, shouldn't he be impeached?" His answer was that he didn't know, many times there are differing opinions on these things. The CDIC OK1 member interjected that a FEDERAL JUDGE had found this illegal. Sullivan said he knows he should but that he didn't pay attention to these things.
The back-and-forth continued, at the Lions. The other activist replied to Sullivan: "In this late stage of the game, it's frankly inexcusable that you haven't devoted any attention to impeachment. You are responsible, as a member of Congress, for providing checks and balances." He said, walking away: "I'll look into it." I said, closing off: "You do that, Sir! I hold you personally responsible for defending the Constitution!" Sullivan claimed that "There are 500 plus different investigations going on, for example, by Waxman." So he's at least --aware-- of the controversies whirling around this administration, but he said, "I guess I just haven't done my homework." At this point the Lion in charge lost composure and blurted out that "we don't discuss politics at the Lions Club." If it weren't for the tension that should have drawn a laugh. It seemed we may be about to be asked to leave. As the meeting ended one activist took off after Sullivan with the other following as backup. . Sullivan did take receipt of a statement of the people's grievances against the Bush-Cheney administration, namely, the Tulsa Impeachment Committee's draft resolution for impeachment, as well as take receipt of our business card, advertising the www.impeachOK1.org forum for the discussion of impeachment, in his electoral district, OK1.
