Nance Greggs thinks the GOP finally found their long lost sense of humor...

Just found this bit of real humor, pointed in the right direction for a change, over at DU. Had to bring it here so that you could all share in the laughs.

If you don't get a bellow of delight out of this one, you get your money back.

And in another corner of Oz

And in another corner of Oz :

GERGEN: Yes, I do. I think Nick Kristof is bright on this. But I must tell you that the pendulum has swung on this. There was a sense, in the lead-up to the war, in which the press, I think, was guilty of cheerleading. We were waving the flags and it was almost unpatriotic to question the possibility of war with Iraq. And then during the time of the invasion itself, when the reporters were embedded, you know, many of them fell in love with the military and I think they reported very accurately.

Dinamic: "Wow David, do you think?

You know I am guessing that Rummy and some of his friends at the Pentagon thought of that too. I can just hear him now."

"If reporters are embedded with the troops they will be dependent upon those troops to keep them safe and a camaraderie will form between the soldiers and the press. Another advantage for us,of course, will be that the embedded press will be seeing the war through the small end of the telescope, that will work well to our advantage".

"Sir, you do know the troops use binoculars in the field "?

"I knew that!" He barks

I really have to laugh at the pundits...some of which are...

finally noticing the winds of change.

Despite editorial bias in most of the mainstream media, the truth is coming out about Bush...in publication after publication.

It may be more the fact that these so-called pundits/journalists are trying to get their tickets so that they are admitted to the new world instead of being denied entry for their past sins of omission.

No doubt Helen Thomas will finally get the front seat she so richly deserves. Put the rest of 'em out in the hallway. Tough luck guys.
