Tell Pelosi - Impeachment is ON the TableIf Represenative Pelosi is seriously going to ignore the facts and decide for us that impeachment is off the table, we need to let her know that we are sick and tired of being told that we need to "let it go." Bush and Cheney are nothing less than criminals and should be treated as such. I would like to start organizing in the 8th CD and find creative ways to bring people together. Anyone living in the 8th CD and/or 11th LD in Washington State, let's do something!

Tell House Speaker Pelosi that Impeachment is ON the Table !!
If House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is seriously going to ignore the facts and decide for us that impeachment is off the table, New York City voters from the Ninth Congressional District in Brooklyn and Queens need to let her know that we won't just "let it go." We need to petition our Representative from the Ninth, Congressman Anthony Weiner, and let him know.
With the statement, "If the President does it, it cannot be illegal," George W. Bush claims the same powers that have been refused to the Nixon, Reagan and G.H.W.Bush Administrations. In advancing the idea of a theorized 'Unitary Executive,' the Administration has claimed authority that is in direct conflict with the Separation of Powers clause in our Constitution.
The Administration has broken Constitutional Law: its rubber stamp Congress has passed the Military Commissions Act that violates basic principles of protection from unlawful prosecution in the Bill of Rights. It has suspended habeas corpus, and it has broken established treaties and side agreements, making the citizens of our country more vulnerable to international acts of terror than ever in our history.
The 2006 Elections were, indeed, a referendum on the illegal domestic economic policy, the disreputable and illegitimate foreign policy and the abhorrent war policy of the Bush Administration. We are not satisfied to have reduced this Executive branch to a do-nothing, 'lame duck' administration.
Vice President Cheney has already declared that the elections don't change anything from the Administration perspective. And President Bush has shown proof of this determination by making more nominations of some of the most biased judicial nominees and incompetent public officials. Even some members of his own Republican rubber-stamp Congress have already agreed that these nominees will not be confirmed.
Bush and Cheney are nothing less than criminals who have perpetrated high crimes and misdemeanors, and they should be treated as criminals. They should be removed from office or allowed to resign. Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution requires it.
