CBS News Correspondent Ed Bradley passed away.
Ed Bradley, a Veteran news correspondent passed away today from complications
with leukemia.
His career of over forty years as a journalist covered some of the major events
of our time.
He was a caring person, as was witnessed when he helped Vietnamese boat people
to shore when the local fishermen hesitated. His film crew followed his example.
They literally and figuratively got their feet wet.
Bradley will be missed as a great journalist, a great humanitarian and
a leader. He had a great sense of timing and humor. He was a gentleman.
Rest in Peace, Ed.
You will be missed.

Thanks, Wahoo.
I saw the '60 Minutes' hour long tribute
to Bradley, last night.
He was one terrific guy. He had
integrity, decency and was a
great human being.
A lot of people from all walks of life really
loved this man.
He carried himself so well,
He carried himself so well, and seemed to be, as you note, a truely descent man.
Yep! He had a large fan club.
From world leaders to NOLA Katrina victims, they loved him.
Jimmy Buffett was one of his closest friends. Ed Bradley was
very down to earth which is damn refreshing.
Peter Jennings was another good guy.
It is a great loss.
Look at what we're left with...
Conservative. A statesman who is enamored of existing evils, as distinguished from a Liberal, who wishes to replace them with others.
