He's a candidate who brings a breath of fresh air to our politically backward district. As crazy as it may seem for a Democrat to win behind the Orange Curtain, viewing the national news reveals PEOPLE ARE FINALLY STARTING TO WAKE UP! MSNBC, ABC, Oprah (!) are starting to fearlessly ask hard questions. The tide CAN turn! Will our kick back constituents wake up and see the fascist tsunami on the horizon and start moving uphill to progressive causes? Will Hummer driving blonde soccer moms start buying fair trade products and boycot WalMart?

When the issues become personal then people will take action. I would love to organize groups to EDUCATE our District at local levels: for instance handing out pamphlets about Carcinogenics in food (at the grocery stores), about inhumanly cheap labor (at Walmart and the malls), about the manipulation of fear of terrorism by the mainstream media (in front of the local stations and newspapers). Anyone interested, please contact me.

And of course, please help Steve WIN!

I'm right next door to Steve's district, in Costa Mesa.
Unfortunately, Rohrabacher is our congressman.

I'm rooting for Steve, big time.
He's honest, hard working and has concrete plans
to improve our economy and social structure.

John Campbell won't debate him?

The Republican still refuses to debate Steve. No explanation is given for the refussal to attend the tapping of the Cox Cable debate on October 3, or any of the pending debates he will not appear at.

Why am I not surprised by the puffed up chickenhawk Repubs down here?

I'll be hosting a showing of Iraq for Sale on Sunday, October 22d, followed by phoning voters in the 48th CD to get out the Democratic and "Decline to State" vote for our candidates, Steve Young and Michael Glover for 70th Assembly District. I'm an Irvine City Captain and can provide you with your precinct list if you want to distribute literature for Steve and Mike, which I have. You can pick up materials from my home, along with signs.
