Prosecute Bush & Cheney! Visit the Democratic Party
"Daybreak urgently reminds us that good political intentions are not sufficient to ensure the continuation of our democracy; informed vigilance is vital to that task." -Mark Karlin, editor of Buzzflash.com
Dear Senator,
Some Senators are urging that reproductive health services be excluded from health reform legislation, which would limit coverage many women have right now, as well as deny benefits to millions of women who would otherwise be covered under proposed health care reform legislation.
At a time when we should be focused on expanding health coverage and providing better quality care for all Americans, this move to take away basic benefits is unconscionable.
I urge you reject any provisions that will limit or eliminate services under existing coverage -- and to stand up for women's reproductive health needs in the debate over health care reform.
Senators: Don't Play Politics with Women's Health
Comprehensive health care reform must address women's health needs and include reproductive health services.
Urge your Senators to reject any health reform provisions that restrict women’s access to the health services they need.
