Where were all of these people when Bush was spending like craz?

Wayne Blackshire, Where were all of these people when Bush was spending our grandchildren's money??? Also most of the signs look like they were provided by professional protesters.

These "Freedom Lovers"

were goosestepping behind George Bush for 8 full years.

And now they dream of goosestepping behind Sarah Palin.

This photo of the Klu Klux Klan marching

That is a photo I may have seen on a documentary of the history of the KKK on the History channel. I think I remember the documentary said they wanted to infiltrate into congress. This may have been way back in the 30's or 40's but not sure. This is a powerful picture... and dangerous thought.

All the Tea Party people don't realize, or maybe don't care, they do look like real idiots.

Sarah Palin is the "One" Moran March!

Beyond imagination!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nobody with 1/2 a brain or an ounce of common sense exists in that party... or even on tv news shows. I don't like listening to the news anymore because it is ALL so depressing. All we hear are lies. News organization anchors are all guessing games and prognasticates and selling their news shows! No facts! Healthcare reform stories are in all styles!

9 Principles & 12 Values

I dropped by Amazon to see when my copy of David Swanson's book "Daybreak" would be sent (it's an annoyingly long wait). They're good at targeting their audience's preferences, so in a click I was perusing Michael Huttner's "50 Ways You Can Help Obama Change America." An Amazon reviewer wrote:

It is well organized, with its 50 suggestions in 7 sections: 1) Turn Obama's Vision Into Law [7 ways]; 2) Become a Community Organizer [10 ways]; 3) Volunteer in Your Community [6 ways]; 4) Be the Change [9 ways]; 5) Amplify Your Voice for Change [7 ways]; 6) Harness the New Media [5 ways]; 7) Act Now to Win Future Elections [6 ways].

My interest raised, I read a few pages, then began to check the readers' comments. What a sorry lesson on the state of our national political polarization. The reviews ranged from the ultra simplistic listing of the 50 states followed by a pitch to only elect Republicans (for the rote readers) to some well-written messages by authors as opposed to change as the Luddites. One reviewer even said it was a shame that the author included Obama's name in the title.

One review struck me in particular because it assumed so smugly and inaccurately that the 9 Principles and 12 Values proffered by Glenn Beck are somehow quintessentially conservative. "(Don't know what those are? Welp, [sic] President Obama isn't about to tell you.)" No, I'd rather get the news from a guy wearing a Nazi uniform in tearful melancholy about his love of America.

So, here are his 9 principles and 12 values. Oddly enough, many of them apply to Democrats, including President Obama, and a few apparently don't apply to the Bush Administration.

Actually, it sounds as though those 12 values will come in real handy as we work "50 Ways You Can Help Obama Change America."
